This page describes what happens when you visitarnpriorrivermen.com. It is written to match how the site actually works rather than to cover every eventuality, so it is short.

What the site is

Every page here is a plain HTML file prepared in advance and served as-is. There is no application running behind it, no database, and no account system — there is nothing to log in to, so there is no profile of you to hold.

No analytics and no cookies

The site runs no analytics, no tag manager and no advertising or tracking scripts. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. That is also why you have never been asked to accept anything: there is nothing to consent to.

Nothing is loaded from anyone else

Every image, stylesheet, font and script on these pages comes from this site's own address. The two typefaces are downloaded once when the site is built and served from here, so your browser never contacts a font provider. Nothing is embedded from Facebook, Google, a video host or anywhere else, which means no other company sees that you visited.

Links out are a different matter. When you follow a link to the league's site, a ticket seller, a sponsor, the rink's location on a map, or one of the club's social accounts, you are on their site under their rules, and this page stops applying.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and like any web host their servers record ordinary technical details of each request — an IP address, the time, which page, and which browser. That is a normal part of serving a website and of keeping it up; it is not read to learn anything about individual visitors, and the club does not combine it with anything else.

The calendar feed

If you subscribe to the schedule in your calendar app, that app quietly re-checks the file about twice a day so it stays current when a game moves. Each of those checks is a request to this site and appears in the hosting logs described above. Nothing is sent back the other way — the file has no idea who is reading it — and unsubscribing in your calendar app stops it.

The newsletter signup

The signup form on the home page is not connected to anything yet. It confirms on screen but sends nothing and stores nothing, so no address entered into it reaches the club. When it is wired up to a real mailing list, this page will be updated to say so before it goes live. In the meantime, email info@arnpriorrivermen.com to be added to the list.

Children

The site is about a senior hockey team and is not aimed at children, and nothing on it asks a visitor for personal details beyond the optional newsletter signup.

Photographs

Team and game photographs on this site come from the club and its supporters. If you appear in one and would rather not, email info@arnpriorrivermen.com and it will be taken down.

Email info@arnpriorrivermen.com. If something on this page does not match what the site does, that is a mistake worth reporting and it will be fixed.
